Back when I was living in Mexico City, some of my cousins had in their school several foreign students. Sometimes they invited them over to have dinner, to birthday parties, or to play football with us. In one of those birthday parties we invited one of those foreigners to join us, he was from Germany. At the party we had a cake with candles, and we started signing ‘Las Mañanitas’ (Mexican version of Happy Birthday song). When the song was over, my cousin blew the candles, and then something happened that the foreigner couldn’t believe it… … All of my family started to sing ‘Mordida, Mordida, Mordida…’ (in English: bite, bite, bite).
