10 Commandments of a Mexican

It is true that the Mexicans behave in a different way comparing with other people in the world, we have an unique culture, traditions and manners that some foreigners might not understand completely.

This is why I decided to make a list of the 10 commandments of a Mexican:

1) You will love the tacos more than anything in the world

2) You will not be on time for any meeting, no matter what

3) You will always have tortillas on your table, and you will put chili to all your food… with no exceptions  (fruit with chili, meat with chili, vegetables with chili, tortilla with chili, chili with chili)

4) When there is a football match on TV no one and nothing will be able to distract you from it

5) You will hate the ‘Chilangos’ (people from Mexico City) – I am a Chilango :)

6) You will know the following songs (you have no idea where you learned them) : El Rey, Cielito Lindo, Ingrata, Noa Noa, 17 años, Uuuto, las Piedras Rodantes :)

7) You will always say, no matter in which part of the world you are, that the Mexican food is the most delicious food in the whole world (Pambazos are delicious)

8) You will dance ‘Payaso del Rodeo’, ‘El baile del biper’, ‘Levantando las manos’ at all the weddings, posadas, b-day parties and other events

9) The candies for you are not sweet… they are spicy! :)

10) You will have so many relatives, that it is possible that the girl you’ve just met… might be your cousin

Finally… you will be handsome no matter what :)
